tucsonAZ enduranceCAMP, Feb. 23-26th, 2017 Back for 2017, enduranceCAMP is a 4 day, 4 night cycling training camp at the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. Camp will focus on endurance training while teaching advanced training and group riding techniques under the careful supervision of our experienced coaching staff. Each day features 60-80 mile AM routes around the beautiful varied terrain of southern AZ followed by shorter optional rides in the afternoon. Camp is limited to 12 people. Tucson, AZ is a “go to” location for early season training camps with guaranteed great weather and varied cycling terrain so ditch the trainer and winter weather with us to boost your cycling confidence for 2017. Cancellation Policy Registration deposits are non-refundable. Additional fees are based on how close to the event cancellation notice is received. Cancellation Fees Deposit – Non refundable 15-30 days: 50% of camp Price 0-15 days: 75% of camp price. enduranceWERX reserves the right to cancel a camp if it fails to meet the minimal attendance required. Any cancellations will be made at least 30 days prior to the camp. In the event of a cancellation all registrants will be issued a full refund. enduranceWERX is not responsible for fees incurred or associated with planning for the camp by registrants such as non-refundable airline tickets. Arrival/Departure Midday-Evening shuttles will be available for Tucson Airport. Please provide Arrival and Departure details as soon as possible. Athletes flying in to Phoenix will be responsible for their own transportation. We will keep the bike room stocked with bananas, bars, hydration mix, recovery mix, etc. but with the exception of the Saturday night catered dinner all meals are your responsibility. If you plan to arrive before a or remain after, and wish to ride, please bring what food/drink supplies you will need for your riding. What to Bring:
- Bicycle: clean, tuned and ready to ride
- Gearing: Your bike should have at least a 12-25 or 12-27 cassette and/or a compact crankset.
- Jerseys: at least 3 pairs (short and or long sleeve)
- Shorts: at least 4 pair Wind Vest
- Base layer : 1 or 2 lightweight
- Rain Jacket
- Arm Warmers
- Cycling gloves: short finger
- Cycling Shoes/pedals (carry these with you if traveling by plane)
- Saddle (Bring your saddle if you are renting a bike)
- Eye wear/sunglasses
- Chamois cream
- Small tote or backpack for anything you wish to keep in support vehicles.
- Heart Rate Monitor and/or Power Meter (Power Tap or SRM or other)
- Toiletries for clean up between rides.
