“FYI, I did the Connectucut River Double Century Sun. We set an event record century split at 5:16 (but the course may have been a little easier this year). The two guys I was riding with were both PBP veterans, and were past winners at the Saratoga 12h race, so it was a great experience for me. It was a wild ride! I was running an average HR 10bpm higher than what I thought my threshold was for about 8 hours until I was dropped. Thanks for helping me get set up on the bike, and working on my pedal stroke. When I got fatugued, I really worked on pushing over the top and pulling on the bottom. Actually what I think about is swinging my legs more like a pendulum, rather than pumping them like a piston.”-Doug Haluza – Cyclist
